List of Priority Activities within the Framework of Special Economic Zones Corresponding to the Objectives of the “Park of Innovative Technologies” Special Economic Zone

1. Design, development, implementation, and production of databases and hardware, as well as design, development, implementation, and production of software (including prototypes);

2. Services for storing and processing information in electronic form using server-based infocommunication equipment (data center services);

3. Creation of new information technologies based on artificial immune and neural systems;

4. Conducting research and experimental design work in the fields of information technology, telecommunications and communications, electronics, instrument engineering, renewable energy sources, resource conservation and environmental management, the creation and application of new materials, and the extraction, transportation, and processing of oil and gas — provided there is a conclusion issued by the authorized body in the field of science confirming such work;

5. Production of text-processing machines, duplicating and copying equipment, addressing machines, calculators, cash registers, labeling machines, ticketing machines, and other office machines and equipment, as well as electronic computing machines and other information processing devices;

6. Production of electrical and radio components, transmitting equipment, and devices for receiving, recording, and reproducing sound and images;

7. Design, development, implementation, and production of electronic, measuring, optical, and lighting instruments;

8. Educational activities in the field of innovative technologies in accordance with the list of specialties determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

9. Design, development, implementation, and production of new materials (including prototypes);

10. Production of household electrical appliances: refrigerators, freezers, washing machines;

11. Construction and commissioning of facilities directly intended for carrying out priority activities within the framework of design and estimate documentation;

12. Construction and operation of a unified university hospital (clinic);

13. Medical, research, and educational activities provided within the framework of the university hospital (clinic);

14. Warehousing and storage of goods;

15. Cargo handling;

16. Other supporting transport activities;

17. Manufacture of nonwoven textile products, except clothing;

18. Manufacture of other chemical products not included in other categories;

19. Manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products;

20. Manufacture of pharmaceutical preparations and medical materials;

21. Manufacture of rubber sanitary, hygienic, and medical products;

22. Manufacture of electrical measuring instruments;

23. Manufacture of instruments for physical research;

24. Manufacture of medical and surgical instruments;

25. Manufacture of irradiation, electromedical, and electrotherapeutic equipment;

26. Manufacture of medical instruments, devices, and equipment;

27. Manufacture of other fabrics;

28. Manufacture of workwear.

Note:

For participants of the Special Economic Zone operating in the fields of information and communication technologies and innovative technologies, the requirement to conduct activities within the territory of the Special Economic Zone shall not be mandatory until January 1, 2028, for the following types of activities:

1. Design, development, implementation, and production of databases and hardware, as well as design, development, implementation, and production of software (including prototypes);
2. Services for storing and processing information in electronic form using server-based infocommunication equipment (data center services);
3. Conducting research and experimental design work on the creation and implementation of projects in the field of information and communication technologies.
