List of Priority Activities within the Framework of Special Economic Zones Corresponding to the Objectives of the “Park of Innovative Technologies” Special Economic Zone
1. design, development, implementation, and production of databases and hardware; design, development, implementation, and production of software (including prototypes);
2. services for electronic data storage and processing using server-based infocommunication equipment (data center services);
3. development of new information technologies based on artificial immune and neural systems;
4. research and development (R&D) activities in the fields of information technologies, telecommunications and communications, electronics, instrumentation engineering, renewable energy sources, resource conservation and environmental management, development and application of new materials, and extraction, transportation, and processing of oil and gas, subject to the availability of a conclusion issued by the authorized scientific body confirming such activities;
5. manufacture of text-processing machines, copying and duplicating equipment, addressing machines, calculators, cash registers, labeling machines, ticketing and cash-handling machines, other office machines and equipment, electronic computing machines, and other information-processing equipment;
6. manufacture of electrical and radio components, transmission equipment, and equipment for reception, recording, and reproduction of sound and images;
7. design, development, implementation, and manufacture of electronic, measuring, optical, and lighting devices;
8. educational activities in the field of innovative technologies according to the list of specialties approved by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
9. design, development, implementation, and production of new materials (including prototypes);
10. manufacture of household electrical appliances, including refrigerators, freezers, and washing machines;
11. construction and commissioning of facilities directly intended for carrying out priority activities, within approved design and estimate documentation;
12. construction and operation of a unified university hospital (clinic);
13. medical, research, and educational activities conducted within the framework of a university hospital (clinic).

26. manufacture of medical instruments, apparatuses, and equipment;

28. manufacture of special workwear.

Note:
For participants of the Special Economic Zone operating in the fields of information and communication technologies and innovative technologies, the requirement to carry out activities within the physical territory of the SEZ shall not be mandatory until January 1, 2028, for the following activities:
- design, development, implementation, and production of databases, hardware, and software (including prototypes);
- electronic data storage and processing services using server-based infocommunication equipment (data center services);
- research and development activities related to the creation and implementation of projects in the field of information and communication technologies.
